The Exchange & Refund Policy
At Salil, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we are happy to accept returns within the guidelines set out below.
The Nature of Handmade Goods
- Small imperfections, differences in shape, size, and color can happen and are part of the charm of a handmade product.
- These variations should not be seen as defects but rather as a testament to the human hand behind the work.
- We strive to represent our products as accurately as possible in our photography, but screen settings may affect color perception.
Eligibility & Timeframe
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since you received your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- In the original packaging with all tags attached.
- Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.
Non-returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned:
- Custom products: Special orders or personalized items.
- Sale items: Only regular priced items may be refunded; sale items are final sale unless defective.
- Gift cards: Digital or physical gift cards.
Shipping Costs
Return Shipping: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item sent, defective product).
Refunds on Shipping: Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the initial shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Damages & Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately (within 48 hours) if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Direct exchanges are subject to product availability.

Delivery takes 4-5 working days (weekends and official holidays are excluded).
Can I exchange or return a product and how much does it cost?
You can exchange or return the product you purchased within 4 days of receiving it. If you would like to exchange the item you got for another product, the exchange fees will be 35 EGP. You can also return it and get you money back, with a 50 EGP refund fees.
